Sweet Pea's Farm Kitchen

YUM! After a long day of hiking in Acadia we stumbled upon Sweet Peas. This place is a little hidden gem right outside of Bar Harbor. Fresh farm to table food located on a beautiful property. We shared a special appetizer that was the freshest tomatoes i’ve ever had. We also had the chickpeas and Plancho Potatoes. Both of which were incredible. However, the star of the show was “The Plowman” pizza. So fresh and the sauce they put in the middle of the pizza is delicious to dip your pizza crust in. The staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations. The one thing we are sad about is we can’t have this place whenever we want:/ We have been home now for several days and still bringing this food up and how amazing it was.

When I say that Christian (and his team, John, Michelle, and others) went above and beyond for our small wedding celebration last weekend, I mean it. From separate passed appetizer plates prepared for the bride and groom to ensure we had bites of everything, to supplementing our decorations with their own candles and fresh cut flowers, it seemed like they could read our minds with what we wanted and what we needed. When the night got cold, Christian pushed out hot apple cider for guests, and John made fresh French press decaf coffee for two guests (even bringing out his own roasted beans as a take-home gift for them). This is such a special spot! We started with drinks - the watermelon mojito was crisp and refreshing, and the jalapeño cocktail was unique with just the right kick. For food, the daily pizza with an olive oil and garlic base (not even on the menu) blew us away, while the Harvest Pizza and plancha potatoes were equally delicious. What really makes Sweet Pea’s Farm Kitchen special is the atmosphere and their specials of the day. Dining right on the farm with such beautiful surroundings felt warm and rustic, and we even got to stroll around the grounds after. Amazing food, creative drinks, and a gorgeous setting, highly recommend!

Very hot outside on A very hot Day. Great lunch. Crispy chick peas should not be taken for granted ever! They were great! Salad very fresh and the chickpeas really made it also had great local beats and grilled potatoes. Harvest pizza with roasted fruit, vegetables and mushrooms was also great! #Recommend

We loved the food & vibes here so much we ate here twice during our vacation. The food was delicious, the cocktails were incredible and the ambience + service were impeccable. It felt like dining in a whimsical, fairy garden. Bonus points for the water bowl & love to our Golden’s who were along on the trip with us. We tried two different pizzas, the caesar salad with grilled chicken, scallops and oysters and all were 10/10.
