Acacia House

Oh, Acacia House! Our annual trip to Acadia National Park would not be the same without a concomitant sojourn at this wonderful B&B, with its fantastic food, gracious hosts – and reasonable price.||Located just a few quiet blocks from the noisy center of town, Acacia House has a range of rooms to choose from. We like Room 3 with its balcony, and large bathroom with lots of surface space.||Breakfast is superb, with a standard menu every day to choose from, including omelets with any add-ons you want, and one different special offered each day. There’s always a delicious fruit course first, and terrific breakfast pastries baked in-house. We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B in Bar Harbor. The owners were very attentive and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of fresh and homemade options.

We really enjoyed our stay at Acacia House! Ralph welcomed us in and gave us great recommendations. We were in Room 8 in the back building and it was spacious and comfortable. Great location, walkable to everything in town. Breakfast (especially the blueberry pancakes) was the best!

We had a great stay at the Acacia House Inn! Everything you will find is done with love and passion! The homemade food, the relaxing atmosphere and the welcoming hostesses were absolutely wonderful. The rooms were cozy and very clean. You will never find a better pancake with blueberries anywhere. In walking distance to the cute town of Bar it was the perfect place for us. Thank you!

Such a lovely inn! Great location right near all the town happenings. Great breakfast. Ralph and Anna were very friendly and helpful with helping us plan our Acadia hike trip. We would definitely stay here again if coming to the area!
