Hearthside Inn

Such a great bed and breakfast! James and Juliana were such gracious hosts from the moment we walked in the door. And Mariela was so kind at breakfast! Our room was cute and the food was delicious. Crystal made the best breakfasts. The people really made this trip special for us. We would’ve been lost and cold in Acadia without their tips, hungry without their recommendations, and bored without their conversation!

I cannot recommend this B&B enough!!! It was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. We were greeted with a smile by the kindest employees daily. The breakfast and sweet treats in the afternoon were AMAZING! The atmosphere is cozy and quaint! The bed was so comfortable and our room was perfect!! I would highly recommend staying here. The location was also perfect, within walking distance of everything!! The entire staff we encountered were all so helpful and kind, words cannot express how wonderful our trip was. We would 100% come back and stay at the Hearthside Inn!

This place was one of the best B&B's that I have stayed at. The rooms were clean and spacious. The heater in the room worked great. It was in walking distance to all of Bar Harbor Restaurants and Shops. The service was amazing and they were always there available. Breakfast was delicious. Great cooks. I would definitely recommend this place. The only negative is that there is not elevator and the parking is tight. If you don't find a spot, you will have to park on the street.

We had a great time in Bar Harbor, largely due to the Hearthside Inn! The inn itself was quiet and cozy, the people working here were kind, friendly, and helpful, and the food was warm and filling. Shout out to Olivia, Mariela, and Juliana for taking such good care of us! They gave us great recommendations for hikes that we never would have known about had they not told us. They also told us the best places to go for lobster rolls and chowdah!!

This B&B was one of the better B&Bs I stayed at. I would highly recommend this place. Rooms were spacious and clean. The heater worked great and the service was amazing as well. Breakfast was delicious and it was close to all the restaurants and shopping at Bar Harbor. I will definitely come back here. The only negative is that the parking is tight and there’s no elevator.
