PITA COAST

We got some Pita Coast after a long day at Acadia! We got the food to go, but the flavor survived the trip to the hotel. The chicken shawarma was delicious. We also got one of each of the sides, and they were all very satisfying. I would recommend this spot to any Bar Harbor visitors for some variety and spice during your stay!

Did you know that Bar Harbor doesn't allow food trucks? But when the truck doesn't move, and is hardwired into utilities, it's technically not a truck...despite actually being a business inside of a truck. Brilliant! And long overdue. Amazingly delicious and plentiful food made and served by two super friendly COA-ers with infectious smiles. Thank you for having a gluten free wrap! Eating here we felt like part of a community. Easy parking for all abilities, and nice outdoor seating options. Can't wait to make this a regular lunch place!

Really really really good Shawarma and falafel wraps with thin crispy pita. Wonderful aromatic spies, including Syrian garlic sauce, in the Shawarma. Herbaceous falafel with pickles and fresh mint. Everything fresh. Unpretentious little food truck with a homemade door. Just two kids trying to start a business. It’s a food truck that can’t move because of zoning requirements (note the rock landscaping around the wheels). Located in a beautiful quiet natural looking college campus

We ordered 2 combos. One shawarma and one falafel. Both were exceptional. Fresh and authentic taste and large portions. It’s a student run “food truck” that was basically a project and they are going to be open all summer in collage of the Atlantic. Be sure to visit them if you find yourself in bar harbor.

The best falafel sandwich ever! The hibiscus soda is so refreshing and the hummus and pita is delicious! And there are two of the smartest, handsomest guys running this fabulous food truck too! (Signed proud mom of one of them :) ❤️)
