Yellow House Bed & Breakfast

11/10! If there is an open room, BOOK NOW! It was perfect! Perfect location! Breakfast and coffee were great! Room was large and clean. Snacks and coffee availed 24/7. Patty and Sara were so sweet and helpful. It was our first trip to Maine, and not the last! And I will def stay here again when I go back. I’m telling everyone I know to stay at YH! *A random piece of advice I wish I knew, not related to YH but Bar Harbor in general. Consider renting a car as Uber is VERY unreliable. You can walk everywhere in Bar Harbor, but if you want to explore the rest of the island/ the park, you MIGHT need a car depending on the time of year. And def to get to and from the airport. And YH has a private parking lot!

Beautiful BnB, right in downtown, by the ocean path. Cozy room with big fluffy pillows and comforter, big bathroom and lovely smelling soaps/lotions. Service was top notch, the most friendly staff, and the breakfast was very impressive! Overnight oats, yogurts/granola, fresh blueberry muffins and one of the most delicious quiche’s I’ve ever had. I love the details of this place! Free snacks, backpacks and yoga mats available for use, watercolor classes, happy hour cocktails and more! This is definitely my favorite place to stay when visiting Acadia!

The perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor, centrally located yet private. Being greeted by Patty who was very friendly, knowledgeable on things to see and do, also allowing us to check in early. The Inn was beautifully decorated and cared for. Sara, the innkeeper was the absolute best, very kind and thoughtful. We had amazing breakfasts every morning and happy hour every afternoon! We also did the paint and peddle with Sara who is a talented artist. I highly recommend the Yellow House Inn!

Large comfortable room, nice cozy reading room with fire place, nutritious snacks, delicious coffee. Easy walking distance to bar harbors scenic shore path and downtown. Get up, grab a blanket and catch the sunrise. Come back relax with some breakfast and coffee. On site free parking. In the middle of everything but quiet with the room feeling secluded. Really great experience.

Everything about this experience was spectacular! The location was private yet close to everything. The service was impeccable and Sara is the most thoughtful host. The rooms were very clean and cozy making you feel like you stepped back in time with thoughtfully curated design throughout. We highly recommend The Yellow House to anyone interested in staying in Bar Harbor.
