We truly enjoyed our dinner at Havana when we visited in Dec 2025. Enrique was our server and was warm and hospitable. He gave us some insight into several options on the menu and lived everything we got. The mushroom spring rolls are a must order item for us when we go and as usual, they did not disappoint. We also enjoyed the white bean soup and tostada with brisket. For our entries we got the lamb shank, paella, and ribeye and enjoyed it all. We had a nice chat with the owner, Michael, who stopped by our table. Havana is a fine dining spot in Bar Harbor that should not be missed if you're in town!

We had an amazing dinner at Havana in Bar Harbor! 🌟 Our waiter, Harley, was awesome and so much fun — he made the evening extra special with his energy and great recommendations. The service was top-notch from start to finish. I had the lobster, which was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious, while Kathy enjoyed the halibut, which was fresh and flavorful. Both dishes were spectacular and beautifully presented. If you’re in Bar Harbor and looking for an unforgettable dining experience with incredible food and exceptional service, Havana is a must-visit! 🦞🐟🍷

I came here one night after a long day of hiking. They have a very attractive menu that fuses Central/South American dishes with a little bit of local cusine. I'd order anything on that menu, but I went with the seafood paella. The quality of the seafood alone made it a good dish. Otherwise, flavors were pretty good, but could have been bolder for Latin American cuisine. I'd rate the dish 7/10. I would have definitely had an app and/or soup if my apppetite was bigger that night. The bread service was okay. Blueberry cornbread and Italian bread w/ black bean hummus were interesting twists, but the cornbread was a little dry. The restaurant vibe is suitable for a date night or nicer-dressed evening on a trip. The primary reason I'm docking stars was for the service. I sat for 15 minutes bef

We celebrated our 33rd anniversary at Havana last night, and it was outstanding from start to finish. Our server, Enrique, was warm, engaging, and made the evening feel truly special. We started with the Butternut Bisque and Sopa de Frijoles—both flavorful and comforting, the perfect way to begin. From there, we shared small plates instead of entrées, which we love to do. The Beets & Squash and the Tostada were our absolute favorites—each dish beautifully balanced and full of creative flavor. The Chicharone brought that perfect crispy richness, and the Mejillones (Maine mussels with smoked pork belly, chèvre, and leeks in a lemongrass cream sauce) were decadent and delicious. We paired everything with two cocktails—the Havana Martini and the Periodista—both bright, balanced, and refreshi

Our absolute favorite meal on our trip. I will literally be thinking about the tostada for the rest of my life— SO good. The lobster was so fresh and the steak was amazing. The staff was very kind and attentive. Yes, it’s pricey, but to us it was worth every single penny!!
