Bar Harbor Lobster Pound

Can't wait to return! We sat indoors, but the outdoor layout was just as well maintained & inviting. All of the staff was welcoming & friendly from arrival to departure (special shout out... Sharon radiates a warm, funny, personable & down-to-earth personality, like a long-time friend!) The menu offers great classics but adds in a variety you don't find at the average lobster pound. We ordered the House Special & Hot rolls with fries & chips, calamari & steamers. The lobster had a sweet, fresh crispness & the aioli was a great twist. The toasted buttered rolls added a savory balance to the meat. The fries were perfect but the homestyle chips are a standout that shouldn't be missed. So yummy and what a fun atmosphere nestled in the woods with string lights and an old boat serving ice cream and pie. We tried the house special lobster 🦞 roll and enjoyed each bite. So tasty and served in red baskets at red picnic tables spread out in the woods. Such a fun vibe and was delicious. Wonderful selection of beers. We had a delicious blueberry 🫐 pie for dessert. Perfect stop after visiting Acadia national park just a few minutes outside the Hull Cove exit. Super fast service and clean bathrooms. Great stop!

This is such a charming place to eat! They cook the lobster fresh in an outdoor shack, so you can watch the process. The staff were super friendly, and the food came to us quickly. We got the1/2 order nachos and the house lobster roll. Both were amazing, but I think the nachos stole the show. Sanya was so sweet and helpful in getting us our food and taking care of it when we were finished. 10/10 recommend eating here.

Fresh and delicious meal! We had the lobster nachos, the house special lobster roll and lobster dinner. Sanya brought us our food and took good care of us. Great lobster dinner! It was a little chilly outside, but still would definitely recommend. Worth it!

We stayed just outside of Bar Harbor very close to this awesome establishment. My wife had the famous Lobster Roll and she absolutely loved it. I had the Lobster Mango Nachos, all I can say is they were "Orgasmic", best damn nachos I have ever had. I loved them so much we went back few days later and I ordered them again with six raw oysters. We loved Bar Harbor and the Lobster Pound. Looking forward to the new website to be able to order merchandise. Thank you for the great food !!
