Absolutely Amazing place! The owners are so friendly and make you feel right at home from the moment you check in until you leave. The pool is heated, clean and relaxing. The grounds are expansive and well maintained. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable and well maintained. We were so happy that we decided to extend our stay one more night and it was well worth it! Definitely worth the money and trip. We are first timers who will definitely return in the future and already planning our next days to visit. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and the menu varied with each day. We stayed in the “General’s Quarters” and it was lovely!!
Perfect couples getaway! The owners are welcoming and attentive. The house was decorated for the holidays which made it more magical. The room was incredible, the view was perfection. Breakfast is first class! They even catered to my husband who has an allergy to egg yolks and made his with egg whites each morning. Couples massage was relaxing and conveniently just downstairs. We will be returning!
We had a fabulous time. Let me count the ways. The room was gorgeous ("The General") and extremely comfortable. We spent many hours looking out on the ponds and sitting in the commodious chairs in front of the fireplace. The breakfasts were a little different and truly delicious. The best we have ever had at an inn/B&B. The (well-heated) pool was a big plus for us; we swam our laps each morning before breakfast. And, finally, the always-available host and hostess were super friendly and super helpful. Our only regret is that it was too cold for us old folks to take the 3/4 mile hike around the beautiful property. On one of the days away from the inn, we toured the Gettysburg battlefield which gave us a lot to think about.
My husband and I spent two nights at the Inn. We have been to many B&B’s and this is by far the best one we’ve ever been to. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Our suite was amazing. The inn is warm and welcoming as were the staff. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back in the springtime
Extremely clean! Atmosphere inside was warm, beautiful, welcoming and way more than I expected. Outside was beautiful and I can’t wait to be there in spring, summer, and fall. The hosts…. well I can’t put into words how wonderful they were. Have never been more grateful. Our room was cozy, clean and extra special. Short drive to visit town.
