The Gettysburg Academy

We hosted our wedding at the Gettysburg Academy this past weekend. Deb and Scott made everything perfect. They were so easy to work with and very accommodating. We could not have been more pleased. The house is beautiful, the rooms are lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Our guests all commented on the fantastic venue we chose. We very highly recommend the Academy for a weekend stay or an intimate, personal event. Thank you Deb and Scott!

The Gettysburg Academy was our home away from home when I spent the weekend with college friends. From the moment we arrived, Scott made us feel welcome, and shared his family's fascinating personal history of the property. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and my bed was the most comfortable I've found in a hotel/inn in a very long time. Because there weren't other guests, my friends and I could enjoy the privacy of having the house to ourselves. Breakfast with Lisa and Lydia was beyond amazing and gave us the fuel we needed to start our day. My friends and I selected the Gettysburg Academy, because our main activity was going to afternoon tea, which the Gettysburg Academy happened to be hosting that same weekend. Scott was an excellent host! He communicated well ahead of the visit and was a wealth of knowledge on the history of the building (which I absolutely loved since that was part of why I booked here). Pricing was affordable, rooms and bathrooms were beautiful. I will definitely be staying here when I return and will recommend the Gettysburg Academy to all hm family and friends!

We had a great stay at the Gettysburg Academy. The location is walking distance to everything downtown. The B&B has so much history. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are inviting as well as the rest of the resistance. The breakfast is amazing and the owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area.

Out of all the bed and breakfasts my wife and I could of went to we are glad we made the Gettysburg academy our first. Scott was a great host, Lisa made an incredible breakfast and the location was perfect. I will definitely recommend to anyone
