L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

I love all things BBQ and so I had to try this place. It didn’t disappoint!! I got the lau lau combo and the pork and cabbage was the most flavorful pork I’ve ever had, so good!! Hubs got the chicken lovers and it was also amazing. Highly recommend going.

This is a place you go when you’re hungry and you want to eat like a real local (working class Hawaiian local, not millionaire retiree) This is not ‘fast food’ in the normal sense of McDonalds or something. This is REAL food. Meats grilled on an open flame. And the portions are generous! I got the BBQ Mix: grilled boneless chicken, thin flank steak (I think?), and short ribs w rice and mac salad, which was easily two meals for less than 20 bucks. Ok, not the highest quality cuts of meat but a delicious marinade. Hungry omnivores traveling on a budget, this spot is for you.

We loved our food. We shared the BBQ Mix plate. The food was plentiful for 2! The Mac salad was delicious! I only took a few pictures of the menu because their menu is large… and there was glare on most of the menu

My first time here and wow! Huge portions and all the food was fresh ! I recommend this place! Cheese fries are a must try 🔥🔥

This was my favourite plate lunch on the island. I was happy to see they had mini sizes because I often find the portions of regular sized meals to be too much for one person. I got the teriyaki beef plate. The beef was so tender and flavourful. The Mac salad was perfect.
