This was hands down the best B&B experience I’ve ever had and it honestly set a new standard for me. I told the owners that the best way to describe this place is hotel amenities with a B&B experience and that really is the perfect summary. You get all the warmth, care, and personal touch that makes a B&B special, paired with the comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful details you’d expect from a high-end hotel. It truly felt like the best of both worlds. Every detail was intentional. The space was immaculate, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The amenities were top-tier, but what really made the stay unforgettable was the experience itself. It felt welcoming, calm, and elevated without ever feeling stuffy or impersonal. What a stunning little hotel. I traveled with my husband and 2 teen daughters and we were wowed by the friendly welcome, beautiful rooms, and gorgeous setting. Best of all was the home-cooked breakfast and generous buffet of Hawai'ian fruits, enjoyed on a deck with ocean views. We enjoyed the outdoor swing, a tour of a nearby Kona coffee plantations, and the nightly symphony of coqui frogs -- loud but lovable. It's not a resort (there are cool breezes instead of a/c) and the suite was more luxurious than the little garden room (which was perfect for teens), but it was perfect for us. We'll dream of going back.

We stayed in the garden room and had the best stay of our lives. The owners were incredibly welcoming and the breakfast was lovely. Every afternoon there was a fresh snack waiting for us. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly! Also fresh fruit from their land and fresh juice! An easy yes! I will be forcing my friends to stay here when they come to big island.

I usually don’t write reviews, but my stay here was exceptional! I stayed in the Honaunau room, which had an incredible view of the ocean. Super clean and comfortable. Hannah, Michael, Greg, and the other staff were all so friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations for things to do on the island, and they even shared some local knowledge/tips so I could have the best possible itinerary! The highlight was definitely the freshly cooked breakfast served on the lanai (porch) overlooking the ocean. Great variety of fresh fruits and tropical twists on classic breakfast items. They have plenty of beach equipment you can borrow, such as towels, snorkels, and beach chairs. The bathrooms are shared, but even with a full house I only had a 1-2 instances where I had to wait. One thing

Absolutely Beautiful Stay on the Big Island! If you’re planning a trip to the Big Island, this is the place to stay. Greg, Michael, Kathy, Hannah, and Caroline are incredible hosts—genuinely kind and welcoming people. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, which has a full bathroom attached along with a half bath, but honestly, we ended up using the outdoor private showers every day—they’re absolutely magical! Showering surrounded by nature felt so calming and peaceful. Breakfast each morning was wonderful. The property grows over 25 different kinds of fruits, so you get to enjoy fresh, delicious fruit daily. Kathy (Michael’s mom and the sweetest grandma) baked something special every day for breakfast and even had treats in the evening. The sunsets from the deck are some of the best I’ve eve
