Famous Pizza & Sub Shop

On a quick weekend trip away we visited Chincoteague. Per the suggestion of Deanna and Christina at Comfort Inn we ordered here for lunch. It was so good! We got the spicy italian pizza and the crab poppers. I am not sure who's idea it was to mix crab into a jalapeño popper, but they must be a genious! The food was delicious. The staff were very kind and quick. The price was really good for a commercialized area. We did not eat insude but saw while we were picking up our food, clean, small, and cozy.

The best pizza in town, in my opinion. Service is fast and the staff are friendly. I like that you can order online and then go pick it up. We often order as we're leaving the beach and it's ready when we get to town. We've also had the pasta and it was very good. My personal favorite there is the Famous Pizza, it's basically a supreme, and they don't skimp on the toppings. It's also excellent to eat cold the next day, makes a great breakfast.

Best pizza around! The crust was airy and crunchy and perfect! The kids meal spaghetti was definitely enough for two! The cashier was extremely knowledgeable about Chincoteague and Assotigue and gave us an informative lesson on the area. Go here to eat, you won't be disappointed.

I have come here multiple times with my family when I visit and we like it. I come here with my Nana and Pop pop. They have a great Greek salad with chicken and their salad dressing is good too. The pizza is ok/good. And it is a pretty good atmosphere. The service is pretty ok/good too. I like coming here. I would recommend it to someone. And I would come back here for sure. Stopped in for lunch while on vacation. We arrived around 2pm as the place was clearing out. Ordered a pizza and salad. Salad was larger than I expected. Medium pizza was super good. I’d say the service can improve. Lady who took our order was neither rude nor warm. This is an area of improvement for the place. Lee me explain— we ordered a half cheese half meat lovers pizza. My daughter is a vegetarian and asked for the meat not to come over on her side. The lady taking our order said, “they can’t do that.” I was surprised she didn’t look back to the cooks and kindly ask for that. Oh well. We lived
