Inn at Poplar Corner B&B

The host made us feel very welcome and as a queer couple, this isn't always the case. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which was made in the morning for us as well as packed lunches. We were able to ride the bikes around town and had an easy time getting around, as the Inn is very conveniently placed. Truly a great experience.

I will start with the positives...great location. You can walk to restaurants and shops easily. The wrap around porch was really nice and comfortable. Speaking of comfort...if that's what you are looking for, do not book this place. The couches and chairs are mostly antique and are extremely uncomfortable. You can actually feel the springs through the cushion when sitting down. The beds were horrible. We stayed in the room on the top floor and it was actually on wooden blocks. The mattress was uncomfortable and everytime someone moved, the entire bed would shake. Other adults in the house found their beds extremely uncomfortable as well. One of the other adults actually couldn't sleep well for part of the time and had to take motrin because it was hurting her back. My kids slept

Wonderfully charming house that we had the best time in. Was a much needed vacation with my sisters and aunt. We had wonderful conversations on the lovely wrap around porch, enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails. The master suite bathrooms are fabulous and the garden tubs provides a much needed relief after long walks on the beach. One of my best stays to date.

We stayed Inn at Poplar Corner for Labor Day weekend, and it was amazing! Linda was such a great host, and her hospitality was top notch. The place was comfortable and clean, and had a real home-like welcoming feel. We were able to borrow bikes to bicycle the island, and they had beach chairs and towels for borrowing as well. Overall, we had an excellent time and would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Inn at Poplar Corner. It was beautifully decorated with antique furniture. My room (The Lavender Room) had a jacuzzi tub that I did not have a chance to use as I was only there for one night. Charity gave me a list of places to see and things to do on Chincoteague and most of the things were on Main Street within walking distance. While I was out exploring, Charity even sent me an email that she had put some muffins and brownies out. I wish I had stayed longer. I will be back.
