The Island Manor of Chincoteague

We planned our trip barely a week in advance. I didn't want to stay in just a hotel and I was lucky enough to find the 1848 Island Manor House. The reviews is what really drew me in. The house is amazing, it is quaint, beautiful decor and lots of space to relax. We barely noticed any other guests even at full capacity. The staff is amazing; it felt like we were staying with a family member who helped us find things to do during our stay. Our room was very spacious and everything was very clean. I loved that the house provided beach gear and bikes so that we didn't have to rent anything. The breakfasts were delicious! Something different every morning :) Located right on main street, it was an easy walk to shopping and restaurants.

My wife and I rented the Royal Suite for our anniversary and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The room was well appointed, clean and spacious. The grounds were beautiful and very close to everything Chincoteague has to offer. Dan was an excellent Innkeeper who was very nice and accommodating. Lin was a master at baking and cooking the three meals we had in her care. Breakfast was delicious and very satisfying while afternoon tea blew my wife and I away. Proper English tea accompanied with an amazing spread of treats both sweet and savory. Everything we ate was fantastic. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at this beautiful B & B. The owners and staff make this place wonderful. They are welcoming, accommodating and work hard to make your stay perfect. We had two days of rain, and yet, my husband and I had one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations we've ever had, working between the raindrops to find interesting and fun things to do. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it and it's sister B & B, Miss Molly's, without hesitation.

My wife and I stayed in the Coastal Breeze room at the Island Manor House for three nights as a 30th birthday gift to one another. With a 2 month old baby, we had to call around for a while before finding a welcoming bed and breakfast in Chincoteague. The food and staff have been exemplary. Everything we have been served has been delicious and beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the "high tea" experience. The room itself has a few minor shortcomings, like an improperly secured electrical outlet and a loose door strike, but all things considered it is a very nice place to stay for a couple of days. The general interior presentation and the gardening/landscaping around the Island Manor House are very nice, and the gentleman performing the landscaping duties was also very friendly. Overall,

Amazing! You are treated like royalty. Why would someone go to a hotel when you get all this for about the same cost? The breakfast meals are first class and the house and rooms are done well. Your stay also includes so many extras like bikes, beach equipment, and so many fun and delicious goodies. Just sitting in the courtyard on itself is a vacation. Maddie, Sam, and Lynn are wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back!
