My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Chincoteague last weekend. We had been to Chincoteague once before during Pony Penning week, but we stayed at a local campground. This time we decided to try a B&B, and I'm so glad we picked Cedar Gables! ||||The house was delightful - but not great for someone who cannot walk up stairs. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable, and we loved the gas fireplace and deck overlooking Little Oyster Bay. We spent our first evening (the night of our anniversary) sitting on the private dock watching dusk turn into night, sipping some adult beverages while the laughing gulls entertained us with their flying "dance" over the water. ||||We enjoyed the breakfasts on the back screened in porch that looked out over the bay. Our room was always cleaned an

Charming and very comfortable, this B&B was perfect for our getaway weekend! Claudia and Kitty were delightful and provided gracious hospitality; the breakfasts were very good and we looked forward to them every morning. No lunch needed! Our room (Captain's Quarters) was pleasant, clean and nicely furnished. We are looking forward to our next stay here and highly recommend Cedar Gables.

My new wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was the most relaxing vacation I have ever been on. The room was extremely comfortable, with a private bathroom with a jetted tub. The site facilities were all very nice, we relaxed on the dock and in the hot tub multiple times. The people were friendly and accommodating, and rooms were cleaned during the delicious breakfasts. We hope to return every year for our anniversary.

Located on the water with nice views. The Inn is very clean. Lori's room was pretty and the bed comfortable. The room has an outside entrance with a small deck which was convenient. Owners are very friendly and upgraded us to a larger room. The breakfast is excellent and varied daily. We would come back!

We've stayed at many BNBs. We did elect to stay in a smaller room for a lower cost. The room was quaint. It has an outside and inside entrance with a shared deck. I did need to ask for an additional pillow and Claudia did get me one (though there was a pause).||The bathroom has a jacuzzi bathtub but it didn't function because you couldn't switch over the shower to the tub. ||The dining- living room is locked and only accessible during breakfast. Breakfast was okay on a scenic porch. ||We did appreciate the owner calling us check-in day to tell us there was going to be a launch of a rocket which was awesome.
