Wells House Bed & Breakfast

My girlfriend and I just returned form The Wells House this labor day weekend. We were able to stay for one night which was great considering most places require a three night stay. Vince and Fran could not be more gracious hosts for our stay in Greenport. The charm and beautiful decor of the home are only to be surpassed by the warmth of Vince and Fran in making you feel right at home at The Wells House. The location is perfectly situated within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Our room was very clean nicely decorated and had a great romantic feel to it. The beds and pillows were equally comfortable and a perfect resting spot after a day of wine tasting or any other activities that Greenport has to offer. We left the Wells House today and wanted to share my wonderful experience with every one. This restored and renevated 1850 Victoiran house is absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated. There are so many interesting artifact in this house that can keep you busy for hours. Rooms are warm, comfortable and beautiful. Short walk to the restaurants and shops. The owners Vince and Fran are such a delightful people, very helpful, friendly, warm and welcoming that you think you are with family. Breakfast table was elegantly set and the food was delicious. We had such a wonderful time and hopefully can go back soon. I highly recommend this place. You want elegant, comfort and beauty can find them all in the Wells house. My fiancé and I made our first trip to greenport and thoroughly enjoyed the Wells House. It's meticulously restored, comfortable and an easy walk to all restaurants in town. Hosts and owners Vince and Fran are truly special people. So welcoming, fun and great cooks! Looking forward to treating ourselves to another there soon.

The Wells House is an incredible treat in Greenport. The beautifully restored Victorian is incredibly appointed with interesting and breathtaking antique/historical pieces. Just a few walking minutes from the heart of Greenport, this home is the perfect spot for a cozy, peaceful Greenport getaway. Vince is amazing (and an incredible chef!) And has done such a magnificent job on the house. We cannot wait to go back and enjoy that Wells House again!

We booked The Wells House B&B for my wife's birthday with absolutely no idea what to expect. This place is amazing! A historic house with various antiques, this place is charming, interesting, and most of all fun. Owner Vince makes The Wells House comfortable and friendly, providing advice on local spots, lovely refreshments, and one of the most delicious breakfasts I can remember in a long time. The location is prime, about two to three blocks to the village of Greenport, with plenty of shopping, dining, drinking and revelry. This was our first bed and breakfast, and we may be spoiled now! Book The Wells House and enjoy a relaxing time in a great spot.
