Nookies

We made reservations at Nookies to be seated at bar. I was told by a friend this was a must. Upon arrival we were unsure where to go so we entered the lobby. Both my myself and my wife were warmly greeted and escorted over to Nookies. Again we were warmly greeted and seated at the counter. Mike our server and bartender was great, super friendly and he has a great personality! He made his recommendations and we placed our order. The food was crazy good, from the apps to dessert. Mike & Josh the chef make the experience entertaining as it's an open kitchen and you get to see everything being prepared. I can't thank Silver Sands and the entire staff we came into contact with enough! Everyone made our Valentine's outing an experience we will never forget!

We had a terrific dinner at the counter. Great cocktails and a small but delicious menu. The Bloomin Onion (tempura scallions) were a great appetizer for sharing. Don’t miss the chocolate pudding for dessert.

This cozy little luncheonette was perfect. We had breakfast and lunch here for a couple days when we stayed. Super friendly staff and really nice breakfast energize you for a great day.

One of the best meals we’ve ever had. Ordered three appetizers and two entrees to share. Everything was out of this world. Focaccia with the whipped ricotta, Oysters, Bloomin’ Onions, Pork and the Roasted Fish. The flavors were outstanding, especially the super tender pork, and the fish with the brothy beans. My husband enjoyed a cocktail as well that was unique and tasty. The dim lights, cozy atmosphere is just what we wanted. Highly, highly recommend! If you’re staying at Silver Sands, then this place is a no brainer! Hang out in the lobby/bar before and/or after as well to extend your experience. Thank you for the amazing meal. Side note, definitely make a reservation!! You don’t want to take a chance and miss out on this place!

Old school diner vibe. Spotless. Nice to drink out of glass instead of plastics like many restaurants there days. Had traditional fish and chips but swapped out the fries for a salad. All great quality. Fish was fresh and greens simple but tasty. Husband tried the oyster soup and for him to say it was satisfying raised my eyebrow. Heard the desserts are great but too full to try. Don’t skip this gem.
