Customer Reviews
We stayed at The Mooring the weekend of the Christmas parade!|Casey, the manager, is a gem! She was friendly and extremely helpful! |I stayed in room 18- which is on the third floor! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable! The bathroom was lovely but had a claw foot tub/shower! I do not recommend this room for seniors!!!!!|There was on-site parking for this room!|There is also bottled water and a wonderful Keurig for coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Delicious cookies are served each day! |I would recommend you stay in the summer, fall or spring. We were extremely cold in the winter.
My husband and I wanted a relaxing vacation. I found the Mooring online and we had a pleasant restful experience. Maura and Casey were friendly and help. The room was comfortable and quiet. We slept great. Good breakfast with fresh fruit and juice. We had waffles. Very good. We enjoyed our stay.
We've been to the Mooring several times over the last few decades - great location and always a nice stay. Things have changed a bit over the years. First time staying in Room 6 - the Moroccan themed room - on the second floor. Guests should be aware that the en-suite bathroom is two steps down and on a slant, so careful negotiation is required...especially during the night!||Breakfast was basic - omelet, bacon and toast. Assigned parking space for the premium room is tight but much appreciated.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the bed and breakfast this past weekend and it was marvelous. From the kind woman who welcomed us and helped us with any requests to each decorative piece in the building, everything was well thought out and curated. The breakfast was delicious and very quick to come out. I found the bed to be very comfortable. The location was walkable to everything nearby and in my opinion, perfect for couples and solo travelers. I slept soundly each night because everyone was quiet and respectful of each other with noise. It was truly amazing. I’d highly recommend this bed and breakfast. I’ll be back!
My significant other and I stayed here for the first time the weekend before Memorial Day. We stayed in room 14 which was a "budget room" and we parked on the street. We had to park a few blocks down Stockton Ave but it was not an issue for us! I have stayed at several bnbs in Cape May and this is a top favorite. It is a beautiful home that was once a boarding house. The rooms are very spacious and quiet! Everything is very well kept and clean and every amenity is though of. The innkeeper Casey was so hospitalible and gave us lots of good recommendations and assisted us in anything we needed. The highlight was breakfast on the big beautiful front porch with the ocean breeze! We cannot wait to return!
