Casablanca

Went in early November, the common part of the house and the breakfast were very nice. We stayed in the “garage type room” in the back yard. Room way to small and poorly set up, rugs need replacing badly. The outside entry area is run down and shabby and was misrepresented. We always tip housekeeping generously but when you tell me we’re providing no housekeeping unless you ask for it but front and center when you walk in is a housekeeping tip envelope??…stay very overpriced for November, Congress Hall showing half the price!! ( Poor investigating on my part)|The other rooms that are actually in the house may be lovely, but I advise do not stay in “Coco Rain”

Recently did a one-night return trip to Casablanca B&B and I truly wish we had more time there! I’m already planning to return next summer.||This is a B&B in the heart of Cape May - a few blocks from the beach and walking distance from many restaurants. ||The decor is sleek, chic, and modern. I’ve always had an image in my mind of B&B’s being dated and drab. I was wrong! ||We stayed in the Sea Grape room which was on the first floor. Stayed here with my future wife (we got engaged during our stay!!) What a beautiful place! Staff, chef and attention to detail was top notch. Will definitely be back!

Recently stayed for a weekend. The room we stayed in was lovely. The bed was soft and very welcoming at the end of a busy day. While our room did not have a tub, it did have a decently sized shower with a rainfall shower head. Good water pressure and the soaps smell and feel great. Tea time (4p-5p) was a nice break in the day but the standout for us was the breakfast they served. The dishes are well thought out and do not require anything added. We loved the smoothie they served before your main dish arrived. The breakfast at Casablanca will certainly fuel you up before you explore Cape May. This B & B is not in the center of town, but it is an easy walk to the mall, restaurants, and the beach. Parking can be tricky due to the way the town is set up. However, you can look on the side

Pretty pics- not so pretty experience. We stayed at the Harrison the year prior and based on the petty pics, we decided to book The Casablanca. For the price you pay, you have a certain expectation, especially for a boutique type of place. One of my expectations is to have a comfortable bed. The sheets were like plastic. Every time you rolled over they would come off, not to mention the shuffling noise. It was really uncomfortable. The AC didn’t work in our room and they had to come up multiple times to fix it. There was also a dirty toilet when we arrived, It is managed by people who do not know anything about the area or things to do, so you don’t get the true b&b experience.
