Inn at the Park

Great B&B for getaway. We live over an hour away but wanted a little romantic getaway for Valentines weekend. Bridget and her husband were great- delicious breakfast and friendly service. We had the Captain's room, nice decor, big bathroom with crawl foot tub, private balcony. Made it seem like we went to another state for Valentines

My fiancé booked an overnight stay here at this quiet and beautiful B&B. It was 10-15 min walk distance into town, down Washington Street. Our room was very cozy, clean and neat. We were the only couple that weekend before Valentine's day. The main house/cottage was nicely decorated with the Valentines theme. The cottage area had two other rooms and there was snack area for extra waters and coffees. We met Bonnie and she cooked our breakfast and it was delicious! She is a great cook and host. We had a wonderful time chatting about the house, the town and our families. We got to tour the house and see the other rooms. My fiancé enjoyed talking to Susan and getting ideas suggestions for our engagement plans. Thank you Susan!! I would recommend

The Inn at the Park is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The place is decorated beautifully in vintage furniture and ambiance. The rooms have mini fridges and everything one can think of including a hairdryer and Susan, the owner is so very friendly and kind. There are treats when you arrive from candy to chips and coffee and tea. The breakfast we had was delicious. Cranberry orange muffins and eggs Benedict. The place is walkable to a park and the shops in Cape May. So glad we stayed here and would highly recommend the Inn at the Park to anyone visiting Cape May and looking for overnight accommodations. We so would stay here again. Thank you, Susan, for your hospitality.

The place was adorable. But overall, we were pretty upset with our visit. We’ve never been to a bed and breakfast that had a set time for breakfast.. typical there’s a timeframe. When I’m trying to get away from the world, it’s nice not to have a strict schedule. When we arrived to breakfast, my mom was told she provided the wrong phone number, not once.. but twice. People make mistakes… we’re human, and it my mom was so excited to get away with her daughter to take her mind off the worst year of her life, and she was made to feel stupid because she provided a wrong phone number by accident. I felt a sense of fake niceness, especially as she would ask us questions (almost like she had a script), and walked away as we would answer. I come to find out this same inn keeper was rude to my mom

This was the First bed and breakfast that I was ever in. My sister and myself spent a couple days to celebrate our birthdays. Susan and Carl, the owners, went out of their way to be gracious and wonderful hosts. Yes, the breakfast was amazing. The location of this B&B was superb. We will definitely be back again.
