The Inn at The Rostay

My family had a great experience at the Rostay this weekend! The room was clean and comfortable and I loved the ease of check in process. The location is ideal, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and two ski mountains right by. And lastly, I left something of importance in the room and it was quickly found and being sent to me. We love the Bethel area and the Rostay is our go to place to stay!

Stayed here with my husband and daughter last week! We had such a great time. We’re a ski family and the motel is only about a 10 minute drive to Sunday River! Our room was beautiful and very clean! We bumped into the owners and got to chatting, they were super friendly and told us they’ve owned since the end of 2023/ early 2024! We also went downtown for a bite to eat which was also great and pretty family friendly! 10/10 we will be back next year for our annual ski trip!

Spent a long weekend at Rostay. The room was great, we had a king room that was recently renovated. It was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was awesome. The owners were very helpful recommending restaurants, a place to rent snowmobiles, and trails for snowshoeing - all just a short drive away. Although we don’t ski, the hotel is only a few miles from Sunday River and Mt Abrams. This is an affordable and comfortable place to stay and take advantage of all the activities in the Betel area. We can’t wait to come back in the summer for hiking and mountain biking.

Location, location, location! Perfect spot to be close to town and ski resort. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and hot water. Room was clean. Making it better was the customer service we received from the staff and owners. Flexible , friendly and very responsive! Will definitely be staying here again! You’re doing yourself an injustice if you don’t stay here!

Although the location was good and the bed/pillows were comfortable, I had to request a broom to sweep the floor once I checked into the room. When I arrived to check into the unit, the front office door was locked and I was not given any prior instructions for check in. Fortunately, a worker was cleaning another unit and helped me figure out which room was our rental unit for the night. It was a fair experience at best and I would look for another place to stay in the future.
