Lovely place. Close to the beach and downtown. Included beach chairs, bikes, beach towels in the stay. Afternoon tea was lovely. The complementary whiskey and wine were perfect. Bed and room were perfect. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Will 100% stay again-loved all the charm and love love Cape May-our favorite beach on the Jersey Shore.
My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Harrison. I wish we could have stayed longer, as it was a stellar experience. The Inn caters to their guests in every imaginable way. They went above and beyond to see that we had an enjoyable time. The place is decorated beautifully. All the details were impeccable from the interior design, outdoor seating, indoor decorations, offering complimentary water bottles, beach bags, beach towels, beach chairs, bicycles, bathrobes and a bottle of Prosecco upon your check in to the over the top 5 star breakfasts which are 3 course breakfasts served on the veranda! I could not ask for a more beautiful experience. They also provide afternoon tea and homemade snacks, along with evening cordials. Our room was absolutely stunning! I did not
Outstanding & memorable experience. We enjoyed the Victorian period environment & decor of the B&B. The breakfast was good. The cake & cookies during the afternoon tea were very good. We would have liked more English tea fare like little sandwiches. The complimentary apricot brandy and cream sherry were a great surprise. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. We found out from one the day before we were leaving that we could visit 2 other properties- The Phorus & Casablanca which we did.
This was our second stay at The Harrison and we really enjoyed it. Cute, small well appointed rooms, comfortable bed. Attentive and friendly staff. Just a couple of blocks from the shopping on Washington Street. As with everywhere in Cape May, parking can be a challenge, but they provide a parking pass to the Bank Street lot which is about an 8 minute walk. Parking during the day can be found just around the corner at the Baptist church for $2/hour or at numerous meters. There are a few free parking spaces on neighborhood streets if you are lucky. We stayed 5 nights and found free parking close by on 2 of the nights. The real standout is the food. Breakfast each day was absolutely delicious and I really appreciated vegetarian and vegan options every day. The cakes and cookies at a
My husband and I went on a quick getaway for our one year anniversary. The Harrison was such a lovely experience. It was quaint and just what we needed to slow down. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and so filling. The inn provided towels and chairs for the beach as well as a bike rental if desired! The Harrison is walking distance from the beach and Washington street mall. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely will be returning!
