Sat at the bar here for a Valentine’s Day date night and was reminded why we love this spot. Friendly staff, delicious eats, great beverages and a fun atmosphere make this a gem in Ridgefield. Slightly off the main drag, but there are a number of restaurants back in this area with somewhat ample parking. May have to drive around a bit or use a lower lot, but typically can find a spot. Love the interior with the wood and glass and nice mix of seating options with table, high tops by the bar and plenty of bar seating. We’ve tried a bunch of the food here and have never been disappointed. Hangar steak perfectly cooked with a super tasty chimichurri. Eggplant tablao fun but a little dry. Gambas so so tasty - gotta get some bread for that sauce. Octopus super tender but needed a sauce with the

Appetizers + entrees are expensive. Not necessarily a bad thing. But high prices SHOULD NECESSARY mean high quality service. That was not the case here. Wait staff were tolerable to deal with, but nothing more. We had a reservation for three. We arrived on time + after 30 minutes or so we had to flag a waiter. Our waters were already on the table upon our being seated. Other tables had been given bread immediately; we had to request it. There was only enough for two of us. I asked for a cup of coffee + was given a latte instead. At that point I no longer cared; I just wanted a beverage. After another 15 minutes I hunted our waiter. He asked if we were ready to order. At this point I began to wonder if he knew that he was to be waiting ON us rather than our waiting FOR him. He took our or

Finally stopped in at Tablao to give their tapas a try as I tend to be a big fan of the small plate restaurant model that encourages sharing and trying new things. Me and company came out for a weekend lunch and while it wasn't very busy there were still other ppl seated enjoying their meals. The layout of the restaurant is fairly open and we'll designed with enough natural lighting to feel comfortable. Nothing over the top or unsightly so pretty much what you would expect For food we ordered a bunch of tapas and spilt a couple mains and dessert. The overall verdict on everything was kind of a mixed bag, let me explain 👇 The bacalao fritters weren't the typical dried cod and a bit disappointing The chorizo tapas were fine with a good flavor and nice balance but again a bit disappointin

We went to this restaurant for tapas last night (Saturday). The place was packed but we had a reservation and were promptly seated by a very courteous hostess. The patatas bravas were perfectly seasoned, not spicy hot. The pulpo a la gallega was also very tasty. The crema catalana, however, was disappointing; it was somewhat insipid and thick (it is supposed to be creamy). Our server was attentive and competent. Overall, we liked this place and plan to go back soon.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Danny was beyond amazing and accommodating. We celebrated my friend's birthday there and it was one of the best meals I've had since I moved to CT. The black Paella was an experience. Everyone on the table agreed that we have not had a Paella like that anywhere...it had a generous amount of seafood and meat. We had a couple of tapas to start...I recommend all of them. We had a bottle of Bonanza to accompany our food! It was beyond perfect. The service was 10/10 Danny continued to check on us and the baby at the table. He accommodated us and allowed a cake from outside. The whole staff came out and sang Happy Birthday with us. This was a 10/10 experience. This is now my favorite restaurant!
