The Fountain Inn

I enjoyed the most marvelous weekend at The Fountain Inn. I was warmly welcomed by the Innkeeper, Morgan, whose grace and commitment to her guests is the personification of what hospitality is meant to be. My room, which overlooked Main Street, included a super-comfy bed that guaranteed a good night’s sleep, a gas fireplace, and heated towel rack. Breakfast was delicious and fully satisfying: the quiche was excellent, as were the muffins and scones. (Afternoon tea and cookies is also served.) Most of the main points of interest—described in a three-ring notebook placed in each room—are within easy walking distance. This was the second time we stayed at the Fountain Inn at Christmas and once again it was a lovely experience. The building and rooms are beautiful, especially at Christmas. The room itself was very cozy, including a fireplace, towel warmers, and a comfortable bed. Breakfast every morning was great and takes place in a really nice dining room. The location is right on Main Street and we could walk to shops and restaurants. To top it off, Morgan the Innkeeper is so friendly and welcoming and was also very accommodating with our schedule around the holidays. We can't wait to go back!

This is absolutely one of, if not THE most charming historical BNB we’ve had the pleasure to stay in! Stunningly beautiful, warm and cozy with a large plush bed and large modern shower. The breakfast was delicious, and the Innkeeper Morgan and her amazing parents could not have been sweeter or more accommodating. It is clear that they take great pride in this home and in ensuring their guests are comfortable throughout their stay. We will absolutely be back for another visit to this gem!

My wife and I traveled from out of state to see a concert at the Playhouse which provided us with the opportunity to experience this charming Inn. Although we're not typically B & B fans, we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The very large room, with fireplace, breakfast the next morning and the many thoughtful and special touches all made for an exemplary stay. And last but not least, the Innkeeper, Morgan, is simply the best. So if you find yourself visiting Ridgefield and want to try someplace other than a national brands, give this place a try. You won't regret it!

We stayed at the Fountain Inn on Christmas Eve and could not have had a lovelier experience. Morgan gave us a tour of the home and was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room we stayed in was also beautiful and kept so well. Couldn’t recommend this Inn more and hope to be back soon!
