Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

In search of authentic Mexican food shortly after moving to Ridgefield, we were told about this place and it has been our favorite ever since! It’s a family owned business and Nory instantly made us feel welcome. Open since fall 2024, the expanded menu is being served now. (9/28/25) Have to share our favorites!! Appetizer: - Homemade thin chips and salsa… Add the guac! - Chile Relleno (appreciate it’s not breaded) Entree: - Pollo a la Crema - Chicken Poblano (Amazing Sauce!) w/ mixed vegetables - Birrias, Enchiladas, Refried Beans & Cheese Burrito… the new Quinoa vegi dish. All has been tasty! Tip: Ask for a side of the secret family hot sauce. We LOVE it on the chicken dishes. Never tried anything like it! It’s so creamy but non-dairy. Wish they sold it in stores!

I'm so glad I finally tried this beautiful restaurant! The service was excellent, the food was delicious (birria tacos were *chef's kiss*), and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting! I will definitely return to try more of their menu items!

Came in for a quick bite by chance while staying at the hotel. Ended up doing two rounds of the chips and salsa, because the salsa was so delicious. I order an Horchata, then went with the Asada enchiladas. This was three enchiladas with red sauce and they were great. Outstanding presentation totally unsuspecting. It’s such a location in such a place. I’d highly recommend the service. You can’t go wrong when you eat here. One of the best meals I have had at a Day’s Inn.

Don’t let the location fool you, the restaurant delivers an authentic, vibrant experience that makes it well worth the visit. I had an absolutely amazing experience at Acapulco Grill & Bar! From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is very welcoming, perfect for a casual night out or a fun evening with friends. The service was friendly and fast, overall enjoyable vibe. Overall excellent drinks and food, this spot is a must-visit! Highly recommend! 🌮🍹

Do not be deterred by the location! Acapulco is a hidden gem. They have the best authentic Mexican food in the Ridgefield and Danbury areas. The staff makes you feel welcome and at home, and the service is exceptional. You can tell they truly enjoy serving customers and are committed to making sure you have a great dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the restaurant is very clean. The food is always delicious! Notably, they have tasty options for vegetarians including the avocado quinoa bowl. I highly recommend their mole sauce…it’s a family recipe with complex, delicious flavors.
