The Cake Box

I am new to the Ridgefield area and we were waiting on my oven to be hooked up so baking a cake was not in the cards for the birthday party I was hosting! I ordered a flourless chocolate cake and a carrot cake. I was over the moon impressed with the quality, presentation and most importantly taste! The birthday ladies loved the cakes and so did everyone else! The carrot cake was moist and had a lemony zest with a delish cream cheese frosting! The flourless chocolate cake was amazing and decadent! We will definitely be ordering from the cake box again! Price was well worth it!

One of the better vegan cakes I’ve had, great value for the price. The online ordering process was so easy and smooth, would definitely choose this place again for a vegan cake.

This cake was superb. Ordered the carrot cake, both of my kids are allergic to nuts and are only able to enjoy carrot cake if we make it ourselves. I orddered this for my aunts 60th birthday brunch and it was a hit, everyone loved it.

10/10 experience! The staff were SO kind and helpful. I stopped in today to pick up an order for a friend’s birthday that I thought I scheduled for today, turns out I accidentally scheduled it for almost a week from now. They were so kind about it and were able to fulfill what I had ordered anyway! Haven’t even tried one yet, but by the way they look I already know they’ll be great. Definitely recommend!

I used to go every Friday after work from 2008 until just before COVID hit in 2020. Then I moved to NC and recent came up last week to visit a friend. I ordered over $150 worth of baked goods from them to bring back home. There is no one in my current area or even up in NY/CT area that I know of who makes the variety of gluten free baked goods they make. When they heard I was traveling they were kind enough to wrap everything in plastic to keep everything from drying out. I’m the only person with food issues including being celiac but when my family tried the baked goods, they were shocked it was gluten free. Worth the 1.5 hr drive from my friend’s to pick up the goodies.
