Silver Diner

Excellent! Traveling through area and happened on this place. This diner is in the middle of a big shopping plaza but has the classic retro diner look and feel with a counter and lots of polished stainless steel. Food delicious and made with lots of organic and locally sourced produce eggs and meats. Definitely not your greasy spoon but an elevated diner experience.

I was happy to find the Silver Diner after a long day of travel with little options for gluten free food along the way. The Diner had many options from breakfasts to dinners to burgers to soups, and even dessert. Gluten free was even included in their lunch specials and seasonal offerings. The staff took time with me to go through the menu and highlight the dishes that are gluten free by nature and those that can be made gluten free with a substitute. They also took initiative to understand and communicate to the kitchen staff that my order was gluten free due to an allergy. Substituting gluten free bread/buns was an extra fee of $1.95. The lunch specials were menu items at a good discount. I had the salmon lunch special (naturally gluten free) for at least $5 off what it is typically. W

One of my favorite diners in the area! I usually go here when I'm seeing a concert in Baltimore or at Merriweather Post Pavilion. The service is top notch. Clean restaurant. Attentive staff. The food is very good. I suggest also getting desert when you are dining here too. I recommend the bread pudding! So delicious!

We stopped at Silver Diner after a long day with the kids, expecting a typical roadside diner breakfast all day, greasy comfort food, and quick service. Instead, we walked into a full farm-to-table menu with dishes you’d expect from a high-end restaurant, not a chrome-trimmed diner off the highway. I ordered the Wagyu Chopped Steak, made with Snake River Farms wagyu, served over garlic spinach and roasted tomatoes with truffle-dill mashed potatoes, peas, mushrooms, and a horseradish demi-glace. Absolutely incredible rich, tender, and way beyond diner food. My wife had the Allen Farms Chicken Pot Pie, filled with roasted chicken, mushrooms, basil, peas, roasted squash and corn, scallions, tarragon, and topped with a flaky buttery crust. Easily one of the best pot pies we’ve ever had. And

Absolutely beautiful ambiance and service. Martin was an INCREDIBLE server, so kind, enthusiastic, thoughtful. He went above and beyond and literally made a lasting impression on me, he was absolutely unforgettable. Silver Diner is SO lucky to have him and get to work with him.
