Soluna Cocina + Tequila Bar

Tonight was my first time here. I chose this restaurant because they had good ratings and I'm always in the mood for Mexican food. I was hopeful that they would have some good tequilas since they are a tequila bar. The food and the service were both excellent! My wife got the birria tacos and I got the suizas enchiladas. They both tasted wonderful and I would be happy to order either again. I'm very picky about my tequilas and I didn't find one that I wanted to try. All of theirs had been aged in repurposed barrels. If I wanted something that tastes like whiskey or wine, I'd order whiskey or wine. I did order the house margarita which was superb! Lastly, I loved the art inside and outside the building. Our hostess told me they brought in an artist from Mexico to paint the murals. It is

This place has great atmosphere. It's especially cool when they bring out one of the sizzling and steaming fajita plates. The servers were friendly and attentive. The food was good. The prices were reasonable. The only small (mostly joke) complaint I have is that we are there on a Tuesday, and the tacos were still full price. Where are the Taco Tuesday deals?!?!

Not your typical strip mall Mexican restaurant... Hostess and servers were very professional and friendly. Menu was also not your typical Mexican fare, with Salmon, Duck and Pork shanks... I ended up getting the Salmon a la Talla, chile rubbed salmon with chipotle aioli served over mashed potatoes and spinach. it was cooked perfectly and was delicious!!! the house salsa was actually some of the best I've ever had!! Will be back next time in town!!

Loved Soluna Cocina! Tried the carne asada and carnita tacos—both tender and full of flavor. The blackberry margarita with lava salt was amazing and super refreshing. Guac was good (just needed a little extra salt/lime). Friendly, attentive service and the patio was perfect with a breeze and music. Great spot—I’ll be back!

Food and service were great they were very nice. The only thing is I felt pretty out of place, literally every person that walks through the door is above the age of 35 and white. I would come back but with some friends to make it less awkward. This is a place you should make reservations for if you have a group.
