Shoreline Restaurant

When in Door County we try to stop at the Shoreline for a Whitefish dinner. Some of the best if not the best in Door County. It is at the end of Door County so plan on a nice drive up to Gills Rock. In the fall the view of the colors is a plus to the great food. The service is always friendly. They have more then Whitefish for those non fish people. It is well worth the drive.

We enjoyed a lovely early dinner and caught the sunset from the bar patio after. Steak and horseradish whipped mashed potatoes were the table favorite. While the whitefish dip was highly recommended it wasn’t for us- we will be back to try other items for sure!

everything at the shoreline is always amazing and we always make it a priority to stop here for a meal whenever in town. the prime rib special on saturdays is to die for, and the view is even better! their brand new patio is also stunning!

This is a must stop place! I would recommend making a reservation (available through the website). We had the Sprouts and Curds for an app. The Sprouts had just the right amount of heat without being overpowering or spicy. The Curds were delicious and accompanied by seasoned ketchup. Per a recommendation from Steve, a local - we had the Perch Friday night special (either pan fried or lightly deep fried). SO GOOD! It was seasoned to perfection and the fries were just right. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was warm and inviting - we loved it!

Stopped for lunch and sat on the patio overlooking the Bay. Very nice patio and beautiful view. Food was excellent. Had soup and salads topped with blackened chicken and sesame salmon. Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
