Scandinavian Escape

Our stay has been very comfortable. Aside from the pool, there is a nice hot tub with excellent views of the nearby mountain range and forest. Our host has been very accommodating even through the stifling heat of the first day we were here. The room is probably smaller than what you imagine, and the kitchenette is not well furnished: there are no plates, no utensils, cups and so on. If you’re looking for a good room with comfortable amenities and an eye towards artistic flair (there’s a Yule Goat and a birch wood wreath in my room!), book a stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed the warmth and atmosphere of this darling B&B. You couldn't find kinder and more delightful innkeepers who aim to please their guests. The views and home are like those in Norway. Loving cared for and immaculate. They have a pool, hot tub, large deck plus a hammock and swing...all with lovely views. ||||Intimate and charming, we really relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. Our room (the Tree House) was cozy but very cute and creative. We slept very well in a very comfortable bed. The rooms have their own balcony and separate entrance. ||||You are in for a real treat for breakfast ...Vern is a wonderfully creative cook AND an artisan. We stayed one night at Scandinavian Escape B&B in the Birch Tree room. Very comfortable and quiet. The room is small but the creative decorating and gorgeous grounds and private setting more than make up for the room size. Each of the 3 rooms has its own private entrance. Coffee is served an hour before the delicious breakfast is delivered to your room. The hosts have decorated so creatively I just sat and marveled at their skill. Overall, this B&B is very comfortable, quiet, relaxing, and a great place to unwind. They has a small pool and hot tub, plus an outdoor gazebo, outside deck in addition to private decks for each room. We will definitely return.

My husband and I just spent an Oktoberfest weekend at this lovely bed-and-breakfast. We were greeted warmly by the owners, Linny and Vern, and instantly felt at home once we entered this gorgeous establishment. Every little detail of their home shows how much work and love they've put into making your stay feel as though you're staying in a European BnB. Vern deserves major kudos for the fantastic breakfasts we enjoyed each morning and there was a seemingly never-ending supply of coffee in the common sitting room. I think my most favorite thing was the jetted tub (we stayed in the Valhalla suite). After soaking and relaxing, it was nice to step out onto a heated bathroom floor. This is a small bed and breakfast in the fascinating Alpine-styled town of Leavenworth, Washington. There are only 3 rooms...two smaller rooms and one suite. Pay the extra and opt for the suite. It has two balconies and a private entrance. The view was so breathtaking that instead of venturing into town on Sunday, we stayed in and spent the day on the balconies, watching a deer eating leaves off the trees and taking a nap on the lawn from one, and taking in the view beyond town to the magnificent mountains from the other. The owners, Vern and Linny, were so gracious. Linny did laundry for us, and folded it so neatly and left it on our bed. We did go into town for dinner, and when we returned, the saw us coming and invited us to come in and visit for a few minutes. The few turned into over
