Beaver Valley Lodge

Serviceable little spot! The room was clean and the amenities as advertised. Lovely country-side with a handy grocery store next door and a great little breakfast spot with friendly staff named 'The Old Mill Cafe' next door to that.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was quaint but not for us. We loved the city and it had its charm but the shower spout was about five feet, barely spraying my husbands torso, let alone his head. The shower pressure was nonexistent. The water came out in a mist fashion. The room didn’t have an actual thermostat located in the room. It was in another room that we didn’t have access to. To make the room hotter we had to text the receptionist who was too busy to do so. There was a vent heater in the room on the floor that got the room to not freezing. The room was small with chairs that have seen better days and decor that was “quaint.” With real investment for renovations, I could see it being a wonderful stay but as it is right now, I wouldn’t go back. This is the perfect base for an xc ski weekend. The hotel was clean and cute; we were particularly delighted by the town of Plain. We were able to walk to the general store for our ski passes, to mill cafe for an amazing and filling breakfast, and then across the street to the plain ski trails—-20+ miles of groomed trails, right from your motel doorstep. (You’re also just a quick drive from the lake Wenatchee trail system.) At night we walked ten minutes to the Plain Cellars winery for tastings and dinner. We had planned to drive the twenty minutes to Leavenworth but found we didn’t need or want to - this place is a destination in itself!

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were big, A/Cd and a grocery store, maintenance store and a diner were nearby. Gas station is also part of one of the stores, which is super convenient. Ziplines 1 minute drive away. Leavenworth about 20 mins away. We appreciated the area was much calmer than busy Leavenworth.
