Haus Hanika

Absolutely lovely place to stay. My husband and I stayed at Haus Hanika in the Alpine Suite for 4 nights and could not have enjoyed our stay any more. Ted & Sandy are warm, inviting, & think of everything. The Alpine Suite was stellar - private hot tub, breathtakingly beautiful view of the river, gas fireplace, comfortable bed and chairs. Even the towels smelled good! Breakfast amenities were plentiful. The TV had all the streaming services.The location is close to town but far enough away to feel extremely private. It was super quiet, aside from the delightful sound of the river. A perfect spot to relax & have a romantic get-away in the mountains.

Celebrating a family birthday. Had 2 rooms, Black Bear and Chalet. A beautiful setting both rooms were very nice. Black Bear looks right at the river and Chalet was larger and accommodating for our little celebration. Owners were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was made easy by providing the Belgium Waffles and fixings, cereal, muffins, fruit, etc. in the room so we could make our breakfast when we wanted. Over all highly recommended.

What a perfectly beautiful sanctuary from which to explore Leavenworth for a few days! The owners built this home and it’s perfectly suited for guests. The view of the river from the patio is striking. I really enjoyed the breakfast selection that was thoughtfully ready for us to prepare whenever we were ready. Close to town but far enough that it was quiet and peaceful. It’s 90 degrees outside but the A/C kept us cool. Thank you!

Haus Hanika was an absolute dream! It’s away from the hustle in Leavenworth, but close enough that it’s easy to pop into town. This sweet little bed and breakfast was so relaxing, especially the Alpine Suite with the private hot tub! We especially loved having our morning coffee watching the sunrise over the river. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, although we didn’t need them, they were readily available. They even provided a lovely breakfast spread right in the comfort of our room! Perfect for couples looking for a relaxing and QUIET getaway. We will absolutely be returning.

Highly recommend the Alpine Suite with its comfortable bed and private patio and hot tub. Spent a lot of time sitting in the comfortable chairs watching the river and nature. The flowers and grounds were beautiful and the bed comfortable. The owners, Sandy and Ted were helpful resources for recommendations and conversations. It was nice to be away from the crowds, but only a five minute drive to town. We enjoyed touring and hiking in the beautiful nearby mountains. Our favorite restaurant is Viscontis and our favorite winery is Silvara. Enjoyed having breakfasts on our patio while watching the river roll by. Haus Hanika is a quiet, lovely accommodation to enjoy. David and Becca
