Traveled here for a weekend stay in a cabin with four families. After traveling all day we were exhausted and just wanted something easy to pick up. The Old Mill Cafe was only 7 minutes away from our rental house. Although we had several dietary restrictions, the online form for ordering was perfect. I just followed up with a phone call about one order we we're not 100% sure was going to be right. Ended up going over the whole ticket together just to double-check everything and all of the food came out perfect! The kitchen was also very quick with such a large order. Some of our favorite things were the fries and the barbecue! Oh and while I was there picking up the food I could not resist getting some of their homemade cinnamon rolls! Everyone loved those the next morning, especially the

The tables were dirty, the food was awful, and there was no service. The bacon was cold and the toast was burnt. They were so stingy with the cheese and eggs that the skillet scramble felt more like a salad. They served the food in a disposable paper bowl, so even the tiny bit of cheese I had stuck to it. It was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had.

We would never expect to find a restaurant with this type of service and quality of foods and beverages located in an unincorporated community in Chelan county. The restaurant is very clean, nostalgic in immediate impression with a pictoric overview of Plain's history. Its Chef and staff are folksy and so welcoming. Wow, the food is grrr-eat! We aren't peckish enough to go for the Buffet. An "A" quality buffet here, in this town. Every chafing dish looked well presented, deliciously inviting with a touch of Bellevue / Seattle class, yep, you heard me right. As good as, if not better! We ordered àla carte and every dish was good down to the last bite. Best sure to check out this restaurant if you're in the neck of the woods, totally worth it.

This place embodies and pays homage to the settlers who first came to Plain. But the staff doesn't respect those people based on their ideologies. We came in for breakfast. Got our food and the food was wonderful. Probably top 3 I've ever had for breakfast. My son asked for us to move there because the food was so good. Then I overheard the staff talking politics and discussing gun laws in other states which were completely false as to how the law actually reads. I looked at my wife who gave me the dagger eyes of you better not say anything to these people as she knew I wanted to correct the staff on how the law really reads. We are all free to our opinion and free to say what we want, but its best done not in the ear shot of customers.

Loved coming here. Customer service was exceptional, and the food did not disappoint. I had the Redneck Benedict with lox, and it was fantastic. The home potatoes were perfectly cooked: crispy and soft on the inside with light seasoning. I was happy to see they have Chai Latte with various non-cow milk options. My family enjoyed the Country Breakfast and caramel machiato. Nice selection of baked goods is available: pies, donuts and cinnamon bun. The two girls behind the counter were super sweet and the cook actually came out to the front to answer my questions and graciously offered to put lox on my eggs Benedict. I was really touched by their personal interest. Atmosphere was warm, cozy and relaxed. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking. I would definitely return here.
