Monterey Inn

This 1906 home has a presence and charm second to none. The moment you walk in, you are warmly greeted by its proprietor, given a personalized welcome letter, and led to your surprisingly large room - all well stocked with the comforts of home. Old world character does not begin to describe how beautiful the rooms and grounds are kept. There is also guest's breakfast (if you order in advance of arrival) and thoughtful, eco-friendly toiletries (many locally sourced)! While there, stop at Highlanders across the street and sample one of the best milkshakes you have ever had.

Paul and Valentina are awesome people, and this inn is possibly one of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed. Valentina takes breakfast orders for every morning and has them prepared exactly when you request. She was even willing to accommodate a slightly different schedule due to my work in the area. They also helped me find lodging in the area when I decided to extend my trip for the weekend and connected me with a local business that was not quite ready for guests but opened early to help us out. We also got to go to the Octoberfest in the "barn" behind the Inn which was a lot of fun, had great food, and good music. The Highlander across the street was also awesome, and we ate there regularly. Great wings and pizza amongst other items. Would definitely go back.

We loved our stay. The Inn is on the Main Street and close to local shops. The owners are very sweet and genuinely care that your stay is all that you expect. We stayed in room 201 which is in the front of the house and is in the turret so it had lots of natural light but also has great black out curtains! The bed was very comfortable and can be adjusted for comfort or need. The sheets are heaven! Each room has its own split so you control the temp. The bathroom updates are very good. Overall a modern, clean and comfortable place. Noise at night is nonexistent. Breakfast was delicious as expected! We’ll definitely stay here again!

One of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in. Room was beautiful. Make certain you ask for the upstairs room #2. Bed was comfortable and had adjustable heights. Small sitting area as well. Shower was huge and heated towel rack. As for breakfast, it was a 11 out of 10. Make certain you try the stuffed french toast. Valentina can really cook. Beautiful and peaceful town.
