Mama D's Cafe Mercantile

Everything we had here was amazing! Especially the waitress who posed for my picture! We loved the decor though-out. The waffles were the best, super soft and fluffy! I was really just a perfect breakfast. Pleasing two teens is hard and Mama D’s did it!

My wife and I toured New England a few weeks ago, spending three days in Maine. We wanted to find a quaint country cafe with warmth, great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We found it at Mama D’s Cafe in Boothbay Harbor. The staff were warm, friendly, efficient, and well-presented. The food and coffee drinks were excellent. The inviting interior made time pass slowly. We didn’t want to leave. Back home in Orlando, I’ll never forget our experience, including the warm and beautiful smiling faces. New memories from a special place on the Maine coast.

Amazing spot right in town in Booth Bay. If you’re looking for a nice diner style breakfast/brunch vision but with a cozy homey vibe, this is the place for you. I felt a bit naughty so went for the vanilla iced latte, wife was bold per usual with a mimosa. She’s on holiday so who can blame her? Moving to the food - she got the daily special ciabatta with Canadian bacon egg tomato and cheese. Stole a bite against her wishes and it was worth the potential wrath I could face when we touch down back in Chicago. I went for the custom omelette - spinach, onion, cheddar, sausage. Real savvy veteran stuff. Waitress had great personality - even called us her darlings. Cheers to Mama D!

It’s a very lovely and quaint cafe. Nothing extraordinary, just quiet and tasty! While not the most delicious and delectable it is filling. A nice small spot for breakfast.

Amazing staff, coffee was phenomenal…particularly the maple cinnamon latte which we came back for on day two before heading out of town! We fell in love with Boothbay and can’t wait to come back!
