Farm 23

This place is a dream. The scones are perfectly buttery, with just the right amount of sweet. Their iced lattes are the very best. The lavender cookies, cinnamon rolls, warm egg croissant sandwiches and the list goes on and on because I think we’ve tried everything at this point. You can taste that everything is made from scratch with love. There is something so authentically homemade about this special spot. It feels like a cozy kitchen where everything is baked fresh each morning. It’s our go-to first stop! If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll want to come back every day of your trip.

What an amazing place! We discovered this only on our last day in Boothbay, and are already planning our return. Part scrumptious bakery, part thoughtfully curated store. GREAT spot for kids!! Our favorite bakery items were the blueberry muffin, the biscuit with raspberry jam, and a ham and cheese croissant.

The baking talent here far surpasses any place that I ever visited here in Maine and anywhere else. From sweet to savory, the passion and artistry shows. You might think you know what you want, but once you see everything, you can't help but add to your order. No, Dorothy, this isn't heaven, but it is very close to it. Excellent coffees and thoughtful selection of gift and vacation items, too.

We got so many baked goods, it was kind of ridiculous. To be fair everything looked good and it also tasted really good. We mostly got cookies and pastries, but I also got a bagel and drinks. We looked into this place because our hotel served their bread for breakfast and it was INCREDIBLE. I will absolutely come here again when I'm back in the area and would recommend stopping by if you have the chance!

Laura makes the best pastries EVER! I have been following Farm23 on social media since before they opened and I’m SOO glad I did.(I‘m just so upset at myself for taking so long to write a WELL overdue review) This is hands down the BEST bakery I have EVER been to! (and being from Long Island, NY I have been to A LOT of bakeries.) My wife and I have been a customer of Farm23 since it opened! Every year we have to visit multiple times for breakfast. We love to get the Fruit Danishes (our favorite) and coffee then go to Ocean Point (or any other of the beautiful places in Boothbay Harbor) to eat and enjoy the views. Since our birthdays happen to fall in the dates we visit we love to get our Bday cakes from Farm23. They all have been so delicious! Laura is amazing and can make just about any
