Harbour Towne Inn on the Waterfront

finally decided to use my Harbour Towne Inn mug from our Maine trip back in the fall of 2025 ☕️ cannot say enough about Stephanie & her quaint inn located in Boothbay Harbor. Stephanie's place was everything & more, from the moment we walked up to the property, until we checked out! upon our arrival, a two-man band was playing afternoon melodies in the front lawn and i just knew we were in for a wonderful stay. Boothbay was our first stop on our 8-day coastal trip (a bucket list trip for me) and was hands' down our favorite stop along the way. we cannot wait to return to Maine someday soon & rest our heads at this sweet lil inn. if your husband or travel pal is iffy about staying at a bed & breakfast and dining with strangers, book it anyways. i promise you, they will eat. their. words!

The Harbour Town Inn, Boothbay, was a magical experience. The inn itself is so charming, with a special mix of timeless touches and modern comfort. Upon our arrival, freshly baked cookies (to die for!) were waiting for us, and the owner made all our time there very special. Our room was extremely comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was terrific! Our meal's presentation was that of a class-A restaurant, and it was delicious. The proximity to the shops in downtown Boothbay Harbor was within a 1/4 mile! I would highly recommend staying here.

Went on my honeymoon here. We had the penthouse suit, and it was incredible, private, quiet, it truly felt like home. The view of the ocean was beautiful. Off street parking was great for easily being able to explore the town. The staff was so kind and charming. The whole experience was better then I could have expected even after I had read all the positive reviews! This place is a gem in the Booth Bay area, and we will definitely be visiting again!

Taking a moment to thumbs up our one-night stay at Harbour Towne Inn, especially owner Stephanie whose breakfast baked goods were delightful. Homemade sourdough bread, best toasted, with jam; two fresh baked quiches; and possibly the moistest, most decadent muffin I've ever had. As a home baker, I know how hard it is to excel in multiple techniques, but Stephanie pulled it off. This is a classically and delightfully decorated Maine B'nB, with the ante upped for the holidays. And most admirable of all, Stephanie's attitude and service were totally positive, no small feat in the last days of a very long hospitality season. Give Harbour Towne Inn a try on your next Boothbay Harbor visit.

Very happy with our stay at Harbour Towne Inn. Stefanie is a fantastic hostess that provides a delicious breakfast! The homemade cookies and homemade sour dough are to die for. |The accommodations are quaint and clean. Loved having a fridge in our room. That came in handy for our dessert that we took to go from one of the close-by restaurants that we walked to. Can’t wait to go back!
