Red Cup Coffeehouse

Spent a winter weekend in boothbay harbor and tried red cup for the first time, had a cappuccino, chai latte and couldn’t resist the warm cinnamon roll in the window. The cinnamon roll was one of the best I’ve ever had, it was warm and gooey, with tons of flavor and the berries added a wonderful taste. The drinks were also delicious. I had to go back the next morning for more. Will definitely be going here again next time I’m in town!

Was in BBH for three days in September 2025. Every morning I had a cup of dark roast and a blueberry cinnamon roll and my wife had tea and a ham and egg sandwich. Coffee was the best I’ve had in a while. Tea was very good too. The blueberry cinnamon roll (warmed) was amazing. Ham and egg sandwich was also very good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely don’t skip this place of in BBH.

I tried multiple things with different flavors to give a real honest review. So, it is expensive for what it is, they charge these prices because they can get away with it in the rich area. Come on, we are all thinking it lol. I would say only go here if you are in a pinch for time by the harbor. It’s solely a take-out place which means it’s quick. The menu is simple, convenience is great, but price is unjustifiable. I had 3 different coffees, they are standard, nothing special. Didn’t have a particular favorite. I had the blueberry cinnamon roll, it was okay, blueberries are the best part, but I could pass on it. My husband and I always look forward to visiting The Red Cup when we visit Boothbay Harbor. The owners are great: friendly and attentive to all their customers. Delicious coffee (we always get almond lattes) and we dream about their blueberry and cranberry cinnamon buns. Today we tried their Turkey BLT and loved it. The place is a gem!

We got sandwiches from the Red Cup Coffee house last Summer both days we were in town and they were delicious. We went back yesterday and they were even better than I remembered. We are going back today before we head home. I took a bite of my sandwich before I took a picture because it smelled and looked so good I couldn't wait. On Saturday I got a BLT with Maple Mustard instead of the herb mayo, and my husband got the Turkey Club with maple mustard instead of the herb mayo and we ordered two chocolate chip cookies. On Sunday I got the BLT again and my husband got the Vermonter and we ordered two more chocolate chip cookies.
