mad river farm bed and breakfast

My wife and I stayed here last winter for a ski weekend. The owners were phenomenal! They happily watched our dog while we were out. Breakfast/coffee was very good with locally sourced eggs. The room was a little tight but it was comfortable and the rate was reasonable. They have a common area as well where you can watch TV on a comfy couch. I actually spent some time looking for this place this morning because I plan to stay here again.

This B&B is on some of the most beautiful land I've seen in the Mad River Valley. The Mad River bends right around the property. It must be especially delightful in the summer, and it certainly was stunning in the winter light. The farm house is lovely and clean with comfortable beds. I slept very well as the house was quiet, although there were other guests also staying at the house. One should not expect a fancy hotel experience as this is more like staying with friends or family. The hosts are incredibly kind, generous and fun people, who make sure that you get your coffee just the way you like it even at a very early hour in the morning. I would definitely return on another occasion.

Bryant is the epitome of a hospitable host. We've stayed twice now and will be returning again and again. Bryants wants to ensure all his guest have a pleasurable stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and Bryant's fried egg sandwiches on english muffins in the morning are to die for. BIG bonus, he is very dog friendly which is rare these days. So our dogs also had a great stay.

Bryant and Barry are great hosts. Bryant is very knowledgeable about the area. The Farm is close to Warren Falls and Ski Resorts. The land is majestic for all the seasons. The summer is a good time to go for a swim. The water is crystal clear. You can't beat the sounds of the water.

My wife and I were in the Mad River for a wedding at the Lareau Farm down the street (and the river) from the Mad River Farm Bed and Breakfast and decided to stay there for two nights. Bryant & Barry were a good representation of what makes Vermont so special and were great hosts. The three American Eskimo rescue dogs were a wonderful addition! The location is just amazing, as there is a swimming hole right on the property teeming with trout with excellent swimming. The farm is a quick drive to either Warren or Waitsfield and is right in the middle of all the Mad River Valley has to offer. 10/10 recommend.
