The Mad River Inn

We had a wonderful stay at the Mad River Inn. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, complete with the best shower I’ve experienced in a long time. Breakfast each morning was also fantastic, made fresh to order. In the evenings, we enjoyed hanging out in the game room downstairs. We look forward to returning next time we’re in the area!

Our family had an absolutely amazing stay! Brandon and Susannah were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable hosts. We truly felt at home during our stay. Breakfast made to order every morning was delicious, as was the homemade cookies every afternoon! Can't wait to stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Brandon and Susannah were wonderful, knowledgeable and engaging hosts who made us feel at home. This was our first time in Vermont to see the fall foliage, and they guided us towards some beautiful local spots in Waitsfield and beyond. As we arrived back from our daily excursions, our hosts were there to greet us and eager to hear about our day. Loved that! Beyond that, the breakfast part of the B&B was amazing. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Mad River Inn. The attention to details was not unnoticed. From chocolates in the room, full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the shower, snacks, drinks, coffees, teas, and homemade cookies daily. But…..the absolute best thing was breakfast every morning. We had a choice of savory or sweet each day. Breakfast was divine every morning! If we are ever back in Vermont again we will definitely stay at the Mad River Inn!

Our anniversary get-away could not have been better. Susanna and Brandon are such wonderful, attentive and caring hosts who make certain guest's experiences are memorable. They are knowledgeable of the area and have great recommendations for things to do and see, and places to eat. The Inn is very clean and welcoming, with a game room in the basement, a pool table, and beautiful grounds. The freshly made breakfasts are delicious, with selections from savory or sweet, and fresh cookies baked daily for afternoon tea /coffee. We are already considering spending another anniversary there.
