Yellow Farmhouse Inn

We had a fabulous weekend at the Yellow Farmhouse! Excellent service, the rooms were impeccably clean and fresh, cute bedding, comfy hangout spaces. There were baked goods to welcome us and a delicious breakfast! Porches perfect for watching a thunderstorm roll through. I especially loved all the farm animals on the property who were incredibly friendly. We had the intention of exploring the area more but found I enjoyed hanging at the farm. I hope to come back again!

Our stay at the Yellow Farmhouse Inn was truly exceptional. Lori, the host, provided outstanding customer service and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. Since we were celebrating a birthday, she went out of her way to make sure the birthday girl felt extra special, adding thoughtful touches that made the experience memorable.||The breakfast and baked goods Lori prepared were excellent. She was very mindful of the birthday girl’s sensitivities to gluten and dairy, ensuring everything was prepared with care. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.||One of the highlights of our stay was spending time with the farm animals, particularly the donkeys, Hope and Dominic. I work for a local clothing company and did a photoshoot at the Yellow Farmhouse Inn, to say it was perfect would not be saying enough. Leanne welcomed us into her home with open arms as if we were family or a guest(of which we were neither). Her home is gorgeous and her gardens and yard are quintessential Vermont! Highly recommend Leanne and her home for anyone visiting and looking for that home away from home, local VT experience! 🥬🍂🌻

My husband and I stayed at the inn for a wedding weekend and we are so glad we booked this place. Monty and Lori are so kind and hospitable and truly made us feel welcome. I appreciated the shoes off policy when entering so as not to track in dirt from the grounds. Our room was comfortable and clean and the bucolic property was well maintained. The brownies that Lori offered us at check in were a delight. Breakfasts were delicious both days and we had eggs from the hens that Monty whipped up. We will definitely return to this delightful inn.

Absolutely charming and unforgettable! Our stay at the Yellow Farmhouse Inn (for two weekends!) in Vermont was excellent! Monte and Lori were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The inn itself was picturesque, cozy, and elegant (think GIlmore Girls in Vermont). Breakfast was a standout--the fresh eggs from their own chickens made for excellent omelets, as well as delicious pancakes and homemade pastries. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with delicious food and warm, welcoming hosts, the Yellow Farmhouse Inn is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!
