Love Point Deli Wine & Spirits

Since new ownership this store has gone down in quality, customer service, and atmosphere. I have been going to Love Point Deli for 8 years and always had a great experience. The atmosphere was always cheerful, the staff was welcoming, and it was a joy to go into a neighborhood friendly deli, but my last couple visits have not felt the same. In fact, today the gal behind the deli counter kept interrupting me while I was trying to order. I think she was trying to be funny, but it was quite rude and I did not appreciate it. It's too bad, this used to be such a great place.

With tax. $12 bucks for this? I’m well aware of how much more expensive food is, and what that means for me as a consumer. That said. I didn’t taste anything but bread in this 12 turkey sandwich with bacon? Is that bacon? Let me finish by saying this place is awesome! People are awesome. Inside is awesome. But these current prices are not. I’m really getting tired of buying something promising on the outside and utterly disappointing on the inside.

Love Point Deli is my go-to, whether for daily lunches, treats, gifts, or hosting guests for charcuterie and wine. Part of my family are OL vegetarians, and LPD has lots of great options for them. The selection is much larger than the small footprint suggests, and everything is consistently fresh and high quality. The place is always attractive, immaculate, and tidy. But, above all, the staff is super friendly, helpful, and professional, and the new owner seems very nice.

Salads are no longer the same quality that they were. The place was great for the past 15 years as I visited it two or three times per week for the food for my own consumption and I even took their food to gatherings. Everyone loved it. When the quality returns so will I.

Above-average-quality, decent premade sandwiches and deli foods are available. The place is in a good location, so it's convenient to stop by and pick something up. However, everything, from food to alcohol, is a bit overpriced here for some reason, so it's definitely not a consistent stop.
