Chesapeake Crab

Ordered a mixed bushel and found the quality of crabs to be solid. Though I did have a handful of crabs that were light, I also had others that were extremely heavy. It was an hour drive one way for me and I find the quality and price right at the cusp of being worth it. They do a great job to make the pickup as seamless as possible. I'll give it another go and update the review.

Hit this place on our way home from a weekend getaway. My husband and I eat crabs 5-6 times a year if not more. We always order live and cook at home. We have gotten crabs from places in Cambridge, MD, the DC warf and MANY places in between. These crabs were BY FAR THE BEST crabs we have ever had since we started buying and cooking ourselves 4-5 years ago. All were FAT, heavy, and packed with SO MUCH MEAT and they were so fresh! We ordered a mix of XL and Jumbo. Prices are def reasonable compared to the other places we looked into before settling on this place. We will absolutely be making the 2 hour drive for any and all of our next crab feasts. The two people who helped us were also super friendly! Super super happy with our purchase.

Very rough place and that's the reason we love it. Crabs were very fresh. Got a bushel of large crab. It was reasonably priced, very meaty male crabs. They steamed it to the perfection, well seasoned and very juicy.

This review is well overdue, we have been happy customers for years. We drive the two hours roundtrip from Bowie just so we can get crabs directly from the fishermen, nice fresh and yummy. They always add more crabs than the order size which is a nice touch that we definitely appreciate.

Great location on the water and and outdoor seating. Live music and great food.
