Queen Anne's County Library Kent Island Branch

They have everything you could ever need at this library. Fishing equipment. Sewing machines. 3D printing. Classes for every topic you can think of. They have even have an outdoor enclosed area for dogs if you want to read outside. It's just a great place to spend time in. If they don't have the book or item you're looking for, they'll order it for you!

Beautiful modern library, great staff!

What a gem our county library is! The staff is absolutely lovely — welcoming, helpful, and always ready to guide you to what you need (and even what you didn’t know you needed). I had no idea the library offered so many resources beyond just books — from digital tools and community programs to workshops and events for all ages. It’s truly a treasure trove hiding in plain sight. If you haven’t explored your local library lately, do yourself a favor and stop by. You’ll be amazed at what’s waiting for you!

This beautiful, clean, bright and well maintained upscale public library is equipped with a competent team of librarians who are steadily obliging, gracious and kind. We always enjoy our visits and consider it a happy and safe place.

After upgrading the building, I really don't see any public library better than this library. Excellent job!
