Tasty Toucan Handcrafted Ice Cream and Paleta-Pops!

Tasty Toucan Ice Cream & More is such a delightful spot! They offer a wide variety of flavors, each one unique and delicious. The Lemon Blueberry flavor stood out with real fresh blueberries mixed in, and the Nana Nilla was fantastic too. The shop itself is cute and charming, perfectly tucked away in a quaint historic downtown. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

This was my first time at the Tasty Toucan Ice Cream Shop. I had a small cup of pina colada ice cream. It was very creamy, and I could taste the coconut, but the taste of pineapple could have been a little bit stronger. There's very little street parking, but there's a public free parking lot across the street. The employees are friendly and efficient. The venue is wheelchair accessible. And, of course, the menu is extremely kid friendly.

Luv this place. Luv the owner/mgr. Always great service. Now, they of course have great ice cream; i often get a key lime shake for the trip back across the bridge. But i also Love the grilled cheese. It's five bucks and it's perfect! And, they're the only ice cream joint by Terrapin.

Last time we went our waffle cones were incredibly stale so this time I asked if they were fresh, and I was told they'd get one from the back that was fresh. And then I was handed a burnt cone. Technically it wasn't stale. The ice cream is good but it's just not worth going back anymore after multiple disappointing visits. Half the time the scoops are super small, anyway. It would also be nice if they listed their prices.

My husband and I went for a small "date minute" during a really hectic week. The staff were absolutely wonderful and the selection was amazing! Such a neat and fun "ice cream parlor" feel while offering a lot more than just ice cream! We'll definitely be going back! I had the 2 scoop sundae and my husband had another offering - both were delicious! The Toffee Crunch ice cream is one of our new favorites!
