Blue Heron Landing

My husband and I love to travel and have been to numerous places. The Blue Heron Landing is hands down one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. The Kent island area is lovely and the waterside location is exceptionally beautiful and well-kept. Inside, just as beautiful and not a speck of dust anywhere! The breakfasts were delicious and Liz was a wonderful hostess. We were very impressed and am looking forward to another visit someday soon!

We found Blue Heron Landing on a whim and it completely exceeded our expectations. Liz and her crew allow you to relax in complete serenity - they have truly thought of EVERY detail to make your stay comfortable, luxurious, and fun. The amenities were wonderful, the room (we stayed in the Fleur de Lis suite) was immaculate, and the service unmatched. We highly recommend supporting this family owned business. We can't wait to come back!!

Blue Heron Landing is the BEST. Liz took great care of our party when we came out for an event on Kent Island. We stayed in the Magnolia Cottage and the photos don't do it justice - simply wonderful. We were able to make a meal with the fully stocked kitchen and hang out on the porch overlooking the water. Breakfast was phenomenal and Liz even put it out early for us to get to our event in time. The pool is saltwater and lovely. Seriously - it's all amazing here, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Liz and team for a great stay, we will be back!

Blue Heron Landing is the ultimate spot to get ready with your bride squad on your wedding day! The breathtaking views of the water and surrounding scenery create a magical atmosphere that’s perfect for making memories. Liz, the host, is an absolute gem—she went above and beyond to make my day unforgettable, exceeding every expectation with her warmth and attention to detail. This place is a dream for relaxing, soaking in the stunning views, and capturing gorgeous photos for your special day. My only regret? Having to leave early the next morning for our honeymoon flight, missing out on savoring a morning coffee with that incredible view! We’re already planning our return to Blue Heron Landing—highly recommend this hidden treasure!

Liz was an outstanding hostess whose home is truly magical. She did not miss an opportunity to provide absolutely anything one could need or indulge in, including a fire pit with fixings for smores! We visited on a rainy Saturday in September but were able to take advantage of the heated pool and hot tub. The grounds are spectacular and well maintained. The beds were super comfy and amenities in the bedrooms and bathrooms were over the top! Our only regret was that we didn’t book a room for the entire weekend. We will be definitely be back to visit our new friend! Thanks for a great stay!!
