Los Hidalguense Taco Truck

the BEST food truck in town. i got a suadero taco, steak tacos, and lengua taco, all mexican style. they were all absolutely amazing — the meat is super juicy with a charred grill flavor, and goes so well with the salsas which are spicy, fresh, and flavorful. it was my first time trying lengua (beef tongue) and i will definitely be getting it again. it was the most tender, melt in your mouth beef i’ve ever had! the tacos came with grilled onion, a whole grilled jalapeño, radish, and several lime wedges on the side. really nice service too, and there are several tables to eat outside if you want. i highly recommend!

The service is really fast and they are so nice to their customers. I definitely would not mind the wait if they are really busy because the food is so good and worth the wait. The price for tacos here are also great compared to other taco trucks I have been too.

Excellent tacos. You have to order, then wait for about 10 min in your car and go back to check. So not as simple as the Palomas truck, where they give you a beeper. Even so, I'll go back again and again. The truck's in the parking lot of a strip mall on Bloomington Rd off Prospect so the location isn't exactly oozing delightful scenery but the tacos make up for that.

This is the easiest 5 star I've given the Birria is awesome but even better dressed up with green and red sauce. However the star of the show is pastor tacos Mexican style. If you thinking about it.. do it.. can't wait to come back.
