Kitanda Coffee & Acai - Mercer Island

Kitanda Coffee Shop has excellent coffee and delicious pastries hot and sweet, plus a nice selection of retail items. This new location is good with indoor and outdoor seating and the staff are okay, though they’re still getting settled - there’s no internet yet. I’m taking off one star because of lack of service, staff can definitely use some training. Otherwise, a great spot with a lot of potential!

Everything here is fantastic. The pastries, the pao de queijo, the kibe, the drinks (the brigadeiro hot chocolate especiall), all delicious. Excited to have a place with good traditional Brazilian food, treats and drinks on Mercer Island. Would highly recommend making Kitanda your coffee shop. Prices reasonable too!

Best place to get a coffee in the island. If you love Açaí, here is the place. The cheese bread sandwiches are also great and the serviced is five stars. Big shout out to Duda, the manager.

I couldn’t believe how good the coffee was — absolutely delicious! The chocolate truffle was amazing too, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Kitanda is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

I had my first experience at Kitanda, and it was absolutely fantastic! The Brazilian latte was rich, smooth, and full of flavor — easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They took the time to explain the menu, answer all my questions, and make sure I felt comfortable with my choices. One of the team members even stepped out from behind the counter to walk me through the most popular items — such a nice touch! Thanks to her recommendation, I tried the cheese roll, and it did not disappoint. Overall, amazing service, delicious food, and a warm, friendly vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back!
