Finally! Someone used this place right! Has been a series of home cook restaurant failures for the last 20 plus years, since it's original opening as a farm market, which was a very good and well visited use of the space. No one has achieved anything super positive for very long at this location until now. For starters the food is excellent, smoked meat perfectly done and the sides are all very good as well. I'd say it's quickly to the top of my list, and glad we got there early because by the time we left it was packed. Service is great was there for lunch with friends and the server probably brought us four plus iced teas each, no worries kept the table cleared off throughout the meal and checked in regularly. Had a nice lunch with the wife at the Delaware location of Hank's Texas BBQ. My wife had the corn cakes that she enjoyed. I had the three meat platter with coleslaw and burnt end baked beans. The brisket was superior and some of the best I have had in Central Ohio. The pulled pork was average, and unfortunately the ribs served were kind of dried out, although the flavor was good. The coleslaw was excellent. The baked beans were kind of watery, without much meat, and a disappointment. We split a banana cream pie offering which was quite tasty, but to be fair it is served in a disposable cup, and really should not be compared with an actual slice of traditional pie. If you are craving BBQ, even if you are not but hungry, you need to try this. I put the Pulled Pork and Brisket as the best I have ever had. There is more to try, but hands down if you are looking for a filler, come hungry, be ready for melt in your mouth protein! I had the tacos with brisket meat, includes cheese, chip salsa and a dipping sauce. The first bite blew me away. So did the last bite. Also had a bite of tge Plain Jane pulled pork sandwich with fries. Excellent.

Been wanting to stop by, but it was so busy the first time (1.5 hour wait, which I guess is a good sign!) and saw the semi mixed reviews, but decided to stop by last week with a group of 8 as our friend Steve’s volleyball team is sponsored by them and he recommended it a couple times, so our work group gave it a shot! Our experience: delicious food in a friendly upbeat environment! We ordered most of the menu, lol! Brisket, Ribs, Jalapeño Sausage, pulled pork, Fresh Green Beans, and Corn Spoon Bread. Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious. Great smoke flavor in the meats. Love the fresh green beans, and corn spoon bread. The favorites of our group were brisket and pulled pork! Stopped here on a whim and boy howdy I am so glad I did. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious! We got the barbequterie board 🤣 so we got to try a little of everything. My fave was a tie between the sausage and brisket (and I am not a brisket person). We also tried the cole slaw, potato salad and green beans. All very tasty there was hardly anything to bring home!
