Greentail’s Seafood Market and Kitchen

Really enjoyed my lunch today! They only use local seafood and everything is freshly made. Personable, friendly staff. They are closing for the season this Sunday (Jan 11) and will open back up March 1st.

Wow, so fresh & so good. Huge portions & reasonable prices. We got the fried grouper sandwich, largest ever & delicious with the sauce, lettuce, bacon & brioche buns. The seared tuna bowl with broccoli, red potatoes & carrots was unique & delicious. The coconut red curry soup was perfection. A must visit if you’re in the Outer Banks area.

The most delicious meal we’ve had in Nags Head! Food is fresh and super tasty, and the crew is very friendly. On the scale of 1 to 10, I’d give this place a 15. Highly recommend if you are looking for a food experience to leave you feeling satisfied.

We researched local seafood places before going out and found that this place served genetically authentic NC shrimp. Went for lunch and it was delicious. Really great prices, good portions, and great selection. They have a ton of stuff to choose from to buy and take home from their market and cool merchandise. The service was great. We all got shrimp baskets or shrimp tacos with slaw, potatoes, Mac, and collards. Collards were surprisingly good. My only suggestion would be having at least once table with normal chairs because I saw some elderly folks come in and leave because all the tables are high tops and have tall chairs. But other than that, this place was the perfect lunch spot. 10/10.

The most amazing Grouper Burrito I have ever eaten! So big I took 1/2 of it home. Picture does not do it justice.
